Haul of Fame is an internal app built by BDR International for its own employees, used to recognize good work by sending each other "trucks" and redeeming them for prizes. This page explains what information the app collects, how it's used, and who can see it.

01 Who this app is for

Haul of Fame is not available to the public. It's provided only to current employees of BDR International as part of an internal peer-recognition and rewards program. Accounts are created by a BDR administrator, not through open sign-up.

02 Information we collect

To run the app, we collect and store the following about each employee:

CategoryWhat's included
Identity & roleName, work email, job title, hire date
BirthdayMonth and day only — not birth year
App activityTrucks sent and received, feed posts, reactions, prize redemptions, and current point balance
Account statusWhether you're active, suspended, or on leave, and when that last changed
NotificationsA device token used to deliver push notifications about app activity
Usage timestampsWhen you were last active in the app

We don't collect location data, contacts, or microphone access. The app's only use of a camera or photo library is when a BDR admin uses their own device to add a picture of a prize to the Reward Store catalog — a photo of the item itself, taken or chosen by the admin. No employee's personal photos or camera are ever accessed for this.

03 How we use it

  • Running the core app: the recognition feed, leaderboard, sending and receiving trucks, and redeeming prizes.
  • Sending push notifications when you receive a truck, an announcement is posted, or similar in-app activity happens.
  • Keeping accurate employment records inside the app — for example, reflecting when someone is on leave or no longer with the company.
  • Maintaining a moderation record when a message is removed, so BDR admins have an accountable log of content decisions.

04 Who can see what

  • Other employees can see your name, job title, and your truck-sending/receiving activity on the shared feed and leaderboard.
  • BDR admins can additionally see redemption history, account status, and the moderation log of removed messages.
  • We do not share, sell, or provide employee data to any outside company for marketing or advertising purposes.

05 Where data lives

App data is stored using Firebase and Firestore (Google Cloud infrastructure), and push notifications are delivered through OneSignal. All data moves between your device and these services over standard encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) — the app doesn't implement any additional proprietary encryption of its own.

06 How long we keep it

Once a year, on a fixed schedule, the app clears out that year's truck-sending history and resets point balances back to zero. Prize redemption history is archived (not deleted) at the same time, so admins can still pull historical reports afterward.

If an employee leaves BDR and their account is marked inactive, their account and related data are permanently deleted after 90 days — except moderation log entries, which are kept indefinitely as part of BDR's internal recordkeeping regardless of someone's employment status.

07 Your choices

For corrections to your name, job title, or any other account detail, reach out to a BDR administrator, or contact us using the information below.
